Mr Scruffy

The birds have been having a party in my back garden this evening and I dodged the April showers to snap this one on the fence, teasing my dogs.

My OH has encouraged our dogs to get very excited and chase any "dik dik" that dares to encroach on our land or airspace and they run from the patio doors to the back door whenever they are inside and spot one.

If the door is open they will 'charge' the offending creature and then guard the garden until they are sure it is clear.

Fortunately they have never succeeded in landing one although there have been a few near misses.
