Today I did my first test in the AAT course I am doing in Blackburn College and I passed. In fact the grade they give is competent or non-comptent and as you can see I was a non non.

The exam itself is low level and possibly one of the easiest in the syllabus but it is greatly significant to me. I learned that I had dyslexia when I was 45 while I was doing a course in the same college. After a long period I went back to college and started again I needed to learn how to learn. I am still learning now but for the first time I managed to overcome my panic, fear and self loathing to pass an exam on the first attempt.

So brew up Cath and pass the Tunnocks.
