DH Lawrence's birthplace
someone i met a few years ago, gave me a great piece of advice 'do something every day that scares you..... well today i fell downstairs! actually fell down my own stairs! alright, only the last 5 steps, but it was something new and it did scare me! was all in slo-mo! had to have a few mini eggs to stop the shakes! did the school run first thing, and picked up Alex (too tired) and Olivia (too stressed at losing a crumpled tenner!). then worked at home. i had over 350 emails in my inbox and needed to go through each one. got them down to 29, but not for long! all in all a top day and lots done. finished at 4.30 (had started at 7am), and went to the gym. needed to justify the shepherds pie mum had made me which was waiting in my fridge! on the way back from the gym, i took this blip. thought it's about time i started to reflect the area we live in, and it's history. 8a Victoria Street, Eastwood, is the birthplace of David Herbert Lawrence. The local council have threaded a blue tarmac line throughout Eastwood, denoting places of DH Lawrence interest, such as his first school. The line starts from here. i've practiced with photoshop on this pic. Friday tomorrow and should be a good day! ready for the weekend!
