I noticed this tree when I dropped younger son off at work. It looked very attractive with these almost black flowers / nuts / berries. On closer inspection they looked like small cones but looking at the leaves I think it could be a beech tree but I'm not sure.

The blip is slightly out of focus because whenever I go take take a shot, the wind always starts blowing.
