witches monument...Dunning.

Managed to get out on the bike tonight. Went up Glendevon and out by Dunning.
This is a mysterious monument for the burning of Maggie Wall in 1657 for the suspicion of being a witch. Some people think the monument is because she was the last in Scotland to suffer this terrible fate...but she wasn't....no one really knows why she has been remember in this way. Was it due to guilt perhaps....that they decided after her death that she wasn't infact a witch.....we'll never know.....
But don't know about you but don't you think the clouds look like a witch on a broom stick.......!!!?
