HAVE YOU GOT THE BOTTLE

This painting is called THE RED FAN[ No two][ 24 x20 inches or 61 x51 cm] by the Scottish artist F.C.B. CADELL. He was born in EDINBURGH in 1883, and lived to 1937. I was surprised when the manager allowed me to photograph the paintings. They were on show at the DOVECOT STUDIOS , in infirmary street EDINBURGH.The building used to be a swimming bathes . There is a group of tapestry workers that have celebrated a hundred years of the finest contemporary work in tapestry. The auction is on the tenth of may in LONDON at SOTHERBYS.It estimated to go for up to £ 300,000, even though the painter died
in poverty as no one wanted his pictures at the time. There are four colourist ,the other three are,SAMUEL PEPLOE, JOHN D. FERGUSSON, and G. L. HUNTER.
