A little bit of Monet
What a gorgeous morning. We have had two days of rain, but this morning the sun was shining and I would have been out earlier if it weren't for making sure the boys left for school on time. Pete is in the Cheviots (Hi if you are reading this) walking so have the car. Decided to take Tallulah on an extra nice walk to make up for the two wet walks she has had recently. We went to Bluebell Wood in Ferry Meadows. It was a bit muddy but the bluebells are looking fantastic. I love this time of year when the greens are so vibrant. It really sets of the blue of the flowers. Also saw my first tree creeper.
Came home and deposited Tallulah who thoroughly enjoyed the walk, and went off to see my friend who lives in Market Deeping. Had a good ol'chinwag and then rendezvoused with Mandy and Chris at the local quilt shop to sort out some fabric for the charity quilts our quilt group are making.
What a lovely morning!!
