Caught by surprise

A beautiful reflection caught in a puddle as I was coming out of a murky, wet, slightly smelly alleyway at lunchtime.

It would be interesting to see if I could capture a similar image of this lantern, but at night. I say 'similar' because the puddle would be gone so the reflection different.

It's just occured to me that some of my favourite images, and the images I subconscously seek out to capture, are of things that I don't expect to exist for very long: reflections in puddles or in glass, shadows, movement on water ....

Speaking of reflection, there's quite a bit of stuff I need to reflect on over the coming weekend. So much whizzing through my head.
