"That was our table, that one in the middle"

This morning Mum and I went into Reading to get a few bits and bobs, and stopped for lunch in this Very Special Cafe. It's where she and Daddo used to come for coffee and teacakes when they first started dating, some 40 years ago.

Mum hadn't been for aaaages, and her face lit up when she told me that the decor hadn't changed a bit - she even recognised two of the same waiters!

I'm spending the afternoon working on coursework, sunlight pouring through the window behind me. I'll have to stop soon though - I'm going back to uni tomorrow and there's loads of packing to be done!
