Syphilis

Always struck me as a strange name for a fruit.



We have six friends (actually they're more business acquaintances) staying for dinner and the night tomorrow. So, today I have cleaned, shopped and prepped, made the pudding - hence the chocolate and armagnac for lunch - even organised everything for breakfast on Sunday!

I should add that the reason I'm so organised is that I tend to lose the plot once I've had two glasses of wine. Although I'm going to attempt to do this... teetotal. Gulp.

But no work has been done on the essay. It's going to have to be next week now.
