Shops
We walked to the shops today. It was a long walk and Mummy was tired when we got home but I enjoyed the view from my pram. We bought honey from a lady who has bees at home; fish from a nice man who showed me a big orange crab, and medicine for Amy's sore teeth from two ladies. I told the ladies "thank you, have a nice day, bye bye ladies". They seemed to think it was funny but I was only being polite.
I took this photo of a clothes shop that always has a dog in the window and a man crossing the street. He gave Mummy a dirty look when he realised but I was having fun. We got a gingerbread man from the bakery but after I had chosen it I changed my mind and so cried a lot. I perked up when I saw the big red bus, though.
We also went to the library and I got another reading book. The other one Mummy borrowed for me was too hard but she says the words in this one are smaller so I might be able to read them more easily. I already know some small words like dog, cat, red, pizza (although that one is from memory not reading!) and rat so Mummy thought she'd let me try a reading book to see if I'm interested.
We had fun in the woods on the way home but I was too tired to walk. Mummy didn't understand why I was so tired seeing as I hadn't done any walking, except around the library, but pushed me home anyway.
We counted cars and looked at numbers on houses on the way there and looked at flowers on the way back. I learned three new flowers today: daffodils, two-lips and pansies. We also saw a dragon picture on a house. It was green and I thought it was so funny!
Amy slept a lot in the wrap.
When we got home I helped Amy to do some standing and taught her how to drink out of her new sippy cup. We had the fish for dinner. It was very tasty, but I preferred the rice and a special yoghurt as I was tired. Amy liked the sweetcorn and threw rice everywhere.
I had fun today, even though I was very tired by the time it came to bed time. So was Mummy so Daddy read me The Gruffalo and put me to bed while Mummy had something called a Pimms. I think it's like the Sims (which I love!!!) but in a drink. She seemed happy, anyway.
