Turnstone portrait

I took a walk to Harwich quay and harbour, which is only 10 minutes from my home, today to practice some shots of the local Gulls and Turnstones which are always there come rain or shine. It was sunny initially but within half an hour it started to rain very heavily.....at least I managed a few shots first! The local Turnstones come very close, as long as I take a few crumbs with me, so are fairly easy to shoot even though they never keep still for more than a few seconds. This shot was my favourite because of the lovely light.
