Dashing Dixie

We met Dixie today in the Woods and she was flying !!
Pebble who is normally the fastest by a long shot was struggling to keep up.
Dixie is 4 and surprisingly a labradoodle .. they are such a funny breed you just don't know what you are going to get as she looks nothing like Pebble but in terms of speed they were a definite match. If only Pebble had longer legs then you would have kept up.
Dixie was also extra clever and could talk which her owner tried to show us only to be interrupted by about 20 kids who descended on our Woods for a PE lesson.
Anyway they had a fine old time running around and my wee pooch has been asleep ever since.
YAY its the weekend so I have got glass of wine in hand and crisps in bowl ... must not drink too much as got to reacquaint myself with my friend the Bike tmro and then head for a surprise birthday party for MIL and SIL . ( Yep unlucky imagine having to share you bday party with your MIL thanks goodness mine is not until August )
Picnic in Windsor ( not so sure about the weather hey ho not my party ) so fingers crossed the snow don't start ..
