Welcome home!

The rain held off for an hour as the Black Watch marched through the town to mark their return home from 7 months in Afghanistan, and the mood was celebratory this time around. They did have one serious casualty who was there in his wheelchair, but they did all make it home unlike their last tour and the atmosphere was quite different to the last time. I was lucky to go along with a friend and her children who were there to watch their dad marching, and they were very proud indeed and pleased to have him home safely.
