How do you spend your Friday nights?

After a full week at work, including an evening until 9pm, a field trip, ballet classes, meetings at the creche and so on, I had to decline the offer of a meal at a friend's house (for the whole family) this evening, because I had to make some cars. What a way to end the week!

I made the cake (that the cars are going to be placed upon) last night at about 10pm. It's not great so I'm hoping that lots of decorations will disguise the slightly flat cake! We're having a little party tomorrow afternoon to celebrate my son's second birthday, who by the way is very snotty and has a croaky voice as he's been back at the creche for a week. Typical. More disturbed nights. No wonder I'm always tired. I hope he likes the cake!
