Scouting for Girls

After Blue Wednesday and stressed Thursday - along came Friday.

J got up early today - for once! She was so excited to go to camp tonight. Little one goes to her camp tomorrow.

Had some great news at work today - I messed up earlier this week but a heap of spinning and persuading (Malcolm Tucker would be proud of me!) it's all gone good.

Very good.

VERY VERY GOOD.

On Wednesday, I was despairing of getting the camp kit for the girls, they both needed so much, it was expensive and I have no money!

But I did it. By myself. With a bit of help from their fantastic big sis but...Hell yeah we did it!

I felt so proud when I saw J unpack her stuff from grandad's car, carry it in to the dorm (she's under canvas tomorrow) and pick a top bunk and start sorting her bed out (including the plastic bag of snacks I tied to her rucksack in case she doesn't eat the food on offer)

Camp is out of her comfort zone..but she felt the fear and did it anyway!
