Ruffled

After the torrential rain this afternoon, the dog and I eventually got out for a walk as the sun was setting.

This Red Kite seemed to be shaking out the raindrops and using the last rays of sun to dry itself a bit.

I see Red Kites every day here, although only over the last couple of years have they become resident.

How ever often I see them they never fail to lift the spirits. Their recolonisation is such a success story.
