Life, as I saw it...

Bear's Den Revisited

Eighteen bags of pine bark and I'm just one short.

The landscaping at (what I call) Bear's den is taking shape. Bear was our faithful mutt who, in spite of our objections, made his summer home under these huge azaleas by tearing out the lowest limbs to form his 'den'. After a day of raking, clipping, pulling, hauling and mulching it's beginning to reclaim its former appeal.

The flower beds and landscaping on this place were the recreation and hobby of my wife. She designed and developed an eye catcher over fifteen years. In the almost five years since she's been gone the place has fallen into a sort of disarray..

The place misses her. The kids miss her.

I miss her.
