Happy Birthday

The reason I love photography so much is simply because it captures a precious moment in time. You don't get it back, but it's there.

Possibly forever, if someone is courteous enough to transfer it to whatever technology applies.

And even if you weren't personally there, you still get to join in.

This is my mum, before there was me. It's one of my favourites.

Today is mums 76th birthday. It's been twelve years, but I seem to miss saying it to her more with every one that goes by.
