First Brownie of Season

Ha ha first brown trout of my first proper days fishing this season - just below Bolton Bridge on Duke of Devonshires Bolton Abbey Estate (Addingham was re-stocking so £30 day ticket instead of £15 - ouch). Fishing buddy Kempy graciously offered me a 1/2 Llb weighting, but I think not quite (or is it just the perspective?)

Fished first dry and then wet as drag sets on home- tied Klinkhåmer Special (but with special Banksie variation of barbed-wire-collected Sheeps wool for it's flotant tag in liu of polypropelene). Fished barbless and released unharmed to fight another day.

Kempy was already 1-0 up with big fish, so pressure was mounting. Game on!
