self-portrait

Made this mask of my face from plaster bandages for a fancy dress event some time ago. Never actually used it. Now it hangs on a wall in the kitchen and every now and again freaks me out - I suppose it is a poor attempt at a death mask after all. Interesting process in making one though, plaster bandages, KY, someone you trust, nice background music and if you are a bit claustrophobic then something to help you relax beforehand.
