Geocache

Out for a walk this morning I found this Geocache.

For the uninitiated this is a high tech treasure hunt for those with a computer and GPS device. My GPS is a Garmin Etrex Venture. Geocachers hide things and post the GPS coordinates and a description on www.geocaching.com.

Visitors access the site, find geocaches in their area, download them to their GPS, then go find them.

For me it just makes a walk more interesting.
