crumpled red/purple shirt

Number 18.

I wore this shirt a lot in my early 20s. I'm being vague. Because I know I wore it a lot but can't remember any particular occasion.

It reminds me of my last year at university - age 21/22. But I struggle to find particular memories from this time. I was immersed in research and loved reading journals and noticing all the parallels between different bodies of research. All the ideas.

I thought I wasn't doing well, and in my relationships I wasn't. But in University I must have been - I got a first class honours. And (probably more importantly) I made many good friendships this year. All I was focusing on was getting to the end of the degree, for some reason it hadn't seem to dawn on me that I needed to have a bigger goal than this ... maybe I didn't need a further destination ... but direction would have been good.

I liked to wear it on top of a black vest. More than that I don't know.
