Friday Night is Pie Night

I love chicken pie, especially home made ones. Trying to get the balance of ingredients right in a household of picky eaters is like doing one of those logic puzzles...

Q: "Tom likes peas, carrots and ham. Kate doesn't like peas, carrots or ham. Susan could do without carrots, can manage a few peas, and would prefer not to have ham. What does Susan put in the pie as well as the chicken to pad it out when she goes into the kitchen and finds a bloated Gertie lying flat on her back and half the chicken missing?"
