London Book Fair

Had the morning in meetings at work and then headed off to London to visit the London Book Fair.

I liked this stand with the books suspended from the ceiling on long wires. Interesting things to see and a few contacts to meet. The talk on copyright in the digital age that I'd gone for was not as good as it sounded in advance.

Met up with an old school friend for a meal later. Can't believe we've known each other for 35 years.....Lots of catching up to do and sharing experiences of parenting (but his son is only 9!).

There were lots of drunken football supporters on the station when I got home - Reading had won their match and now have a guaranteed spot in the Premiership next season. Good atmosphere with the fans -anything that spares the town the stress of play-offs is good news!
