Flowers from friends

We usually have cut flowers in our house, but I always think the nicest ones are those brought by friends. They have chosen the flowers for us with love.

J and D and K came for a meal tonight and to see photos of Cuba. We had a lovely evening. It was relaxing after a hectic day. This morning Mum had her eyes tested and we did some last minute shopping for tonight. Home for a quick lunch and then I was off to the U3A Geology meeting on Igneous rocks. Home with just enough time to finish the preps for the meal.

There was really no time to think of a blip. This image pushes boundaries again. I've experimented with ISO 2000 and no flash. This accounts for the grain but I'm impressed with the camera's abilities at high ISO. Good for the 7D.
