Sprouting or should that be chitting!

We certainly need to get these planted - they've been abandoned in the shed and forgotten about. Looks like they are doing well at the moment without our help.

We've spent a full day at the allotment- helping with the `big tidy up' project to start with and then trying to put work into our own patch. I've done some digging and weeding + planted some strawberries and Ann managed to finish digging and raking over our main patch of ground. She's been the photographer today >>>

I'm pretty tired now and it won't be long before I'm heading for bed to read. (I finished Pompeii by the way - I can recommend it if you haven't already read it.)
