Ewe And Lamb

A few days ago I was out blipping clouds (with a few sheep) and had another idea for a sheepy shot. So tonight I got out of the car wanting to blip some distant sheep. The one nearest my said "Baa!" the next one said "Baa!"" and came closer.

Before I knew what was happening every ewe in the field was baa-ing and running with its lambs towards me! I was laughing and couldn't concentrate on the photos for looking at the mob and reaching over the fence to touch them. What a noise!

So to get the shot I hoped for I will have to park the car and sneak up on them, when they're not hungry (I didn't have any turnips in my bag). In the meantime I'm happy to have seen these two rubbing noses!
