Assyrian Lion

This lion has been dead thousands of years, but you can see his failing strength and pain in this relief.

We went down to london to meet with my best friend from Switzerland and her son. It was their first trip to london so we did a lot of walking around and seeing things, and a lot of museum visiting - the natural history museum, the science museum, the V&A and the British Museum. Only a few rooms each, although we did linger in the British Museum until they kicked us out.

Another back blip... sorry I have been such a slacker, been having computer problems... maybe I will blip them soon as they are driving me nuts.
