Should it be crossed today? I'm here, I've come to it, should I cross it or wait? The saying doesn't say anything about a choice whether to cross it or not. It just says: cross that bridge when you come to it. I suppose in the saying's world it means there is no turning back, one must go forward. But what if I am happy on this side?
