Scrappy

Today we travelled to Pymore for a league match. The conditions were far from ideal, despite some spells of bright sunshine, we had 2 hail storms during the game and an abundance of rain! It made the middle of the pitch quite heavy and the ball was skidding off the top of the grass a lot.

Despite this, we passed the ball around nicely, and created a number of clear cut chances. Unfortunately we didn't take any of those chances until Ryan curled a beauty into the bottom corner 6 minutes into the 2nd half. However the lead was short lived as we were unable to clear a cross and conceded a soft goal 9 minutes later.

It then stayed that way for the rest of the game with the final result 1-1. On the whole we played very well and considering I rested a number of players before Friday's final we can take many positives from the game.

Focus now switches to training on Tuesday and making final preparations before the big one on Friday!
