Carolina Wren Chick

The nest is located in an empty flower pot in my open garage. I certainly didn't think the chicks would be ready to fly. All three of them were out of the nest today and chirping like crazy. They weren't very good at flying which concerned me but I had to let them learn on their own and pray they didn't get hurt.

We finally got a little bit of rain today and more on the way. Not nearly enough to get things back to normal. It would take a strong tropical storm or weak hurricane to get the water tables back to what they once were.
