Aquilegia

The border in the back garden is springing into life now. This Aquilegia is looking lovely. It has such a beautiful design, with its double rosette and long spurs. Aquilegia comes from the latin word meaning eagle. the spurs are supposed to look like the spurs on an eagle's claw.
