Late Bloomer ~ 200

There are 200 grains of pollen in this dogwood blossom. I counted them myself!

My tree was split in half by the terrible ice storm we experienced in late October. I feared it was lost but upon the advice of a local nursery man we drilled a few screws into the wood to hold it together. To my joy, it has bloomed profusely.
