Here comes the rain again.

It seems strange that while I am writing this, the skies outside are an ominous black and the rain is lashing against the window. It is so wet that even the youngest cat, while viewing the gloom outside, is contemplating his good life indoors.
With this downpour it is hard to accept that certain parts of the country are experiencing drought. This once, green and pleasant land is now a divided region. Although in this part of the country, the water companies are telling us the reservoirs are 90% full, the Environmental Agency has warned of low river levels. We have obviously taken water to much for granted as a resource.
