The return of Parys Mountain
DIGITAL CAMERA
Another Sunday Toad jaunt - back to Parys Mountain Copper mine in Amlwch, our two previous visits this year it was so cold & windy I could only stand it for a few minutes to take a blip, but today it was'nt too bad & the sun came out for a bit, other explorers were out & about too.
This is a blip of the the old pump house which goes by the name of "Pearl Engine House" a Cornish beam engine was installed in it in 1819 to pump the water out from the mineshaft.
We walked the Copper Trail which goes around the top of the mountain for about 4 miles we managed to take a wrong turning (this is normal toad behaviour) & walked a bit further than we should have.
