Lodger

Hazel, one of Gail's friends retires from the hospital tomorrow. She and her husband Alan are off to one of their 2 homes in America for 3 months, returning here for a week then travelling around Europe for another 3 months. They have a dog and a Canary, they found a home for the dog but not the Canary. Me being a softy when it comes to animals said that we would have him, and so we picked him up today and brought him home. He's settling in well and singing his little head off. I suspect that the new lodger will become a permanent resident.
