Why DiY?

I'm looking forward to returning to work tomorrow, for a rest. I have had THE most frustrating and disappointing weekend.
I have sanded and varnished my bedroom floor. Filled in holes and banged down about 200 nails.
I am not a patient, or natural, DIYer and
I am such a girl, I had to pin a flower to my mask.
