Tired Beyond Tired

Today has mostly been about Joshua, waiting at Maenporth for him to arrive I began to notice that there seemed to be very few in his age group taking part, saw our friends children arrive, Beccles and Mike, then Sharon arrived and said that Joshua was not far behind.
That sort of 'chest swelling' moment when he came into view, very proud of a boy barely over 11 who had just completed 36 miles, time taken doesn't really matter, he finished.
After a long shower he sat on the settee very obviously tired but he loves gelato the Italian ic e cream so I had booked a table at our new Zizzi's for a meal to congratulate him on his effort.
