Another Party Princess...
...But this princess prefers racing overalls and star wars t-shirts to tiaras and frilly frocks. Boo loves her to bits. She's the eldest child of yet another family that I am full of admiration for, not least because of all the recent work they have put in to applying to start a school - a school which I would be absolutely thrilled to send my son to if it goes ahead. They also do parenting in the most natural way, and it really shows through the solid family unit that they so obviously are. Brilliant party with loads of running about, which I am hoping will make for a better night than we had last night, although I thought that all the naked bouncing yesterday would have had a similar effect. There's no rhyme or reason to the night wakings sometimes! Last night there was a 'scary man' above the window who wouldn't go away. Poor little Boo! He was seriosuly freaked out and eventually would only settle if he was well away from the edge of the bed, because the scary man could get in the edge of the bed, and he needed to be literally pressed against husband or I. We could feel his little heart racing in fear, and he kept wimperimg "hold me! Hold me! Don't let go! Scary man!". He kept asking us to tell Jesus to get the scary dreams out of his head, and then pointing to his head and saying "they are still there! Tell Jesus to get them OUT!". We did lots of praying with the little man and eventually he drifted off. Sweet dreams tonight please Lord, and a good night's sleep for all! :)
