Nor'west
Forecast today was for severe gales in Christchurch, that means over 130kph.
I had arranged to go for a ride with Mrs KD, and I tried to pull out. But she was keen, so at 8am off we set. Over the Port Hills, down to Governors Bay, up Gebbies Pass and "the b*stard", along the top of the Hills and home. All went very well until the top of the Port Hills, yes, it was probably 130kph, a little hard to steer in a straight line ;-)
Overall a very enjoyable ride. Around 40km in 2 hours 15. Pretty happy with that. And yes, this is accentuated a little obviously, but the sky did look that angry.
Packing and organising gear, as we head to Wanaka for 2 weeks tomorrow!
