A Bit of a Let Down.

I'd planned to go further afield for a picture today, but our friend Helen came for supper last night &, as she was parking her car, she ran over a bottle in the gutter & her tyre rapidly deflated.
This morning we went to change the wheel & guess what? New(ish) cars don't have spare wheels. Not even one of those funny pram wheel things. How crap is that?
Instead, there was a thing that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket & pumps latex stuff into the tyre, supposedly plugging the leak & reinflating it.
Once the latex had all pumped out of the hole in the tyre we removed the wheel, slung it in the back of our car & went to Kwik-Fit...

After all that, my plans for the day had themselves been punctured. So here's a picture of the sun relected in our garden pond.
