It's an unusual sight to see Edgar injured.

As a child he was so boisterous I thought that it was possible that he had mild anesthesia . At primary school I once had a phone call to say he had been injured, my first thought was how many other had been hospitalised.

He was run over by the rugby scrum machine in training a couple of seasons ago and survived with bruising.

When he came a cropper during todays match the physio and coach were on double quick. They were great and the physio was lovely. They patched him up and he finished the match. They lost and became runners up in the County Cup.

A slap up meal and free beer seemed to cure the aches and pains quite effectively.
