... to The Banqueting House - our home for the week at Gibside, a National Trust site near Newcastle. We spent hours wondering the grounds in fab sunny weather.

The Banqueting House is a Landmark Trust holiday 'cottage' - in this case a magnificent folly dating back hundreds of years, lovingly restored and saved for the future. Peace and quiet for a week, hence frantic retrospective blipping now!
