Sandwich Tern

Went to the Ythan Estuary today, it's a lovely spot, so even though we didn't find the King Eider and there was nothing out of the ordinary at Rigifa Pool en-route it was still a lovely, if a tad chilly day. Two new birds for the year list, both summer migrants, a single Sand Martin investigating the sand banks and the Sandwich Tern colony numbers seemed to be building up nicely and noisily!
