Mennonite woodwork

I was not too energetic today so I photographed part of our fireplace mantle. We don't have a fireplace, but we bought the mantle - a late 19th century Ontario Mennonite-carved piece of cherry wood that was salvaged from a demolished home. We use it as a room accent. I have blipped the salvage store before - my second blip after signing up.
