So this was one of those days that started with no plans and ended up meeting up with two groups of friends, having two good meals, doing some rather scenic and not too tourist filled wandering, riding on a funicular train, drinking too much tea, laughing a lot and generally enjoying the life we have in Paris.

As a result I had a number of photos to choose from including a bizzare elephant inspired 3 legged table, the only kony 2012 poster I've seen and oddly some ok photos of people, but this one won it for me. If not for the fact I get to quote a friend who pointed out at about this point 'did you know the yellow rendering on these building is in fact Plaster of Paris' it was mined from this hill.'
