Get Up Stand Up
A spontaneous visit to The Ritzy to see Marley was interrupted at first by a fellow who enthusiastically shouted "Music!" every time a certain Bob Marley song was played in the film. He also gave a bit of a running commentary. I didn't mind him so much, but then I wasn't sitting too near him. The security herded him out to a round of applause from the rest of the audience. Then, about half an hour from the end of the film, the lights came on and we were asked to evacuate the building by the nearest exit. We were outside in seconds and watched as the fire engine appeared and the fore officers surveyed the scene. In the end, it turned out that someone had tripped the alarm and it couldn't be reset. The cinema closed for the night and we were left hanging on the edge of our seats. Our plan is to return tomorrow to catch the last half hour of the film...[later note: we returned and caught the ending the next day - super film].
