A week of snails

Well, here they are - my studies of those lovely snail shells. I tried different mediums using ink, water colour, gouache and finally my new crayons which at the moment are my favourites. I have really enjoyed doing these. I endeavour to do a drawing, painting or print every day taking from 5 minutes up to a couple of hours depending on the subject and when I get the time.
My sketch book is like a drawing blip!
I think maybe snails have a 'fingerprint' shell which is unique to every snail as no two are the same. Some ate all my lettuce seedlings at the weekend though....grrrrr
