We had to defrost the freezer today. One of those things that you never quite get round to, with or without a ballpoint pen. But the fact that we couldn't actually close the door forced us to eat the few remaining things in there. So after a couple of days eating an odd asortment of chilli and rhubarb (not together, the rhubarb got made into jam) we found these hidden under an iceberg - mincemeat pies left from xmas. It feels a bit decadent to be eating festive goodeis now, but I could become accustomed to treats like these in March.

I did intend to blip the frozen wonderland of the freezer, but the camera just didn't capture the glitter.
